PROPOSED OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN:
The R.M. of Britannia No. 502 intends to adopt a new Official Community Plan under the The Planning and Development Act, 2007 known as the R.M of Britannia No 502. Official Community Plan Bylaw, 11-2017. Bylaw 11-2017, is intended to replace Bylaw 09-1989 and will allow for a new planning policy framework to guide growth and development in the R.M of Britannia.
PROPOSED ZONING BYLAW:
Public notice is also given that the R.M of Britannia No. 502 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning Development Act, 2007 known as the R.M of Britannia No. 502 Zoning Bylaw, Bylaw 12-2017. Bylaw 12-2017 is intended to replace Bylaw 09-1989 and will act as a tool to implement the Official Community Plan, Bylaw 11-2017.
This Bylaw will affect all land within the Rural Municipality of Britannia No. 502
Any person may inspect the bylaw at the R.M. of Britannia No. 502 Municipal Office, 4824 – 47th Street, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan between 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding statutory holidays. Council will be holding an open house on May 31st, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the R.M. of Britannia Municipal Office Council Chamber located at 4824 – 47th Street, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Any person wishing to ask the municipal staff questions or to review the proposed bylaw will be able to do so.
Council will holding a public hearing on June 14th, 2017 at 11:00 am to 12:00 p.m. in the R.M. of Britannia Municipal Office Council Chamber located at 4824 – 47th Street, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
